The first thing it forces you to do is sign into your Google account, before anything will work on it, even if you are already signed in like I was, so it will then get all your sign in account information. I have just tried the other 40 or so YouTube extensions, not a single one insists you sign into Google. would not trust this extension as far as I could throw it!!

sign in doesn't work for microsoft edge, it works for Microsoft edge canary and chrome browsers
