Open in Firefox - Edge Add-on for Seamless Browsing

'Open in Firefox' is an Edge extension that facilitates seamless link transfer from Edge to Firefox. Whether it's a current tab, link, or multiple tabs, this add-on sends them directly to Firefox. It smartly detects if Firefox is open, choosing to start a new instance or just a new tab. Its managed storage support makes it configurable by an admin, adding to user convenience.

I use Edge for Gmail in Offline Mode, but my main Browser is Firefox, so I wanted to open clicked links with Firefox. With this add-on and reverse mode it works perfectly! One important thing: You should also add mail.google.com/ to the first input field ("Comma-separated list of domains to open with the external browser when the link is opened with left-click"), so Gmail still shows PDF-previews normally inside the same window. ;)

I want use Edge for PWAs. But my default browser is Firefox. I want to click on links in PWAs that open in Firefox. This extension helps me to that. I installed the extension in Edge, enabled Reverse Mode, and installed the native client. Thanks!

If I'm understanding correctly, the native client creates a server which listens on localhost and executes commands received, such as list all the files in a directory, copy, move and delete files, or execute any process or script... which sounds like a huge security risk. Why does the native client need all this functionality? What am I not understanding here?
