Fake Filler

A form filler that fills all inputs on a page with fake/dummy data.

Fake Filler is a helpful Chrome extension designed to automatically fill all form inputs on any web page with random dummy data. It supports various input types including text boxes, textareas, radio buttons, dropdown menus, and checkboxes, simplifying the tedious task of manual data entry for developers and testers.

Key features include respecting the maxlength attribute, ignoring CAPTCHA, hidden, disabled and readonly fields, and even generating dummy data based on regular expressions. Fake Filler significantly accelerates the process of form testing by providing quick and reliable fake input data, making it an essential tool for web development and quality assurance workflows.

Awesome extension to help with testing.

Works very well. Wish it had an options page to allow custom JS to run after it, such as ability to set preferences of always choosing a specific country or setting different email address(es) to use.

Extension safety

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Fake Filler requires very minimum permissions.
