2025-01-31	Ma*****	UPDATE: (Needs to remember to make this app easy to share. Every page preferably That's a big boo. UPDATE 2. Too many bugs & no tech support. I listen every day & twice so far start me over at day 1. 1st time it fixed it, this time it didn't. I was at 52, I woke up to 1 day as I fell asleep listening to it. You agree to watch an ad and it's like double or triple. Sometimes the same ad repeatedly, which would bother me as an Advertiser. Even the survey glitched & didn't work, Twice.
2025-01-31	Br*****	There are a few good audio books but the cost to continue the story is to expensive, and don't fall asleep while listening it'll auto drain your book credits. It doesn't bother to ask if you'd like to continue. The app has taken credits and won't register when you use the app everyday so you lose daily progress for no reason. Honestly the books aren't good enough to get me to pay.
2025-01-29	Tr*****	Decent. Good stories, but the limited amount of episodes per day make it either a money pit, or a seriously frustrating experience. Writing this review because there's no way to contact the devs directly in app that I can find, but I had a suggestion for them. The experience for both the app owners and the readers could be much better if you offered a one time charge to unlock a specific story all the way. Just saying.
2025-01-29	BO*****	The stories are good, told well, and good variety. But the cost is insane. You only get a few free episodes a day IF you keep checking it. If you don't keep checking it it doesn't seem to count down the hours to next free episodes. And to buy the story with coins going to be anything from 100 dollars to well over $1,000 which is absolute madness. Greedy. There should be a way to buy the book with one cost for a monthly subscription, or have an advertisement between every episode or something.
2025-01-28	Ke*****	Love the stories I'm listening to. Sometimes after an ad, the story goes back a few chapters rather than to the next chapter. It's like it fails to keep track of where you are properly. On that same note, I listened to two or three chapters yesterday with earbuds just hitting play when I could listen, but never actually opened the app so I lost my free coin streak which is very disappointing. I think that latter issue is probably due to the same that causes it to backtrack and replay chapters
2025-01-28	Ce*****	Started listening as a way to unwind after work and help me sleep. It goes through coins really fast now for some reason, so I have to limit my time listening. Here lately the story I'm listening to stopped showing pictures, per the story line. All I was seeing was Ads, that put me asleep fast! 👎 I was upset, because I had purchased coins to continue listening and ended up shutting it off because ads. 👎👎 If this continues I'll move on. I've read enough books to figure out how it ends.
2025-01-27	Ri*****	Pocket FM delivers what you'd expect it to in an organized fashion. Completely reasonable to listen to a series for free if you only listen for a little while a day. I find the price per episode to be a bit high, but the price for coins isn't unreasonable. The app does glitch out on my phone occasionally, especially when I switch between series/episodes. It will show the wrong episode title for what is playing, or the incorrect series entirely. In the end, I still use it despite its flaws.
2025-01-27	De*****	I love listening to Pocket FM. REKINDLED HEARTACHE is my favorite. The only thing I don't like is when my series has finished for the day, and I have to buy more coins, then a new series starts playing. I probably have 4 other series started, but I stop them as soon as I hear it. I only want to listen to one story at a time. Other than that, I LOVE IT!!
2025-01-26	La*****	Loved the app before I had to re-download after Christmas and now it's a small limit of ads I can watch to earn coins. Also, I play a game to earn coins but it often malfunctions and doesn't add the coins. Another issue I'm having is once I leave the app, the two story I switch between are removed from my list and replaced with every other story. In addition, one I find the two stories again and click on them, it gives me an error message stating "something went wrong. Please try again later. "
2025-01-26	To*****	Just got the app and after a day or so, the glitches went away and it works great. None of the software or commercials issues others have described. BIG HOWEVER, I hate the business structure of this app/service: it's very far on the addiction/subscription vs the purchase for ownership one time and save model. Can't buy a whole book w/1 payment, so you pay 4X more $$! E.g. for My Vampire System: - to buy all 70 books on Amazon: ~$490 - for all eps on PocketFM: ~$1,833 @ 24coins/$1, "best value"
