Instant Dictionary by GoodWordGuide.com is a browser extension for Microsoft Edge that lets users lookup word definitions quickly. Upon double-clicking any word, a user can view its instant definition in a pop-up bubble. Additionally, it provides access to complete definitions of words or phrases through the toolbar dictionary, detailed definitions from online dictionary, and a one-click Google search if the word/phrase is not found. Currently, only English Dictionary and English Wikipedia are supported. It's of note that, upon installation, any previously open tabs must be refreshed for the bubble to work.

A writer's best friend! This extension has accurate definitions, and is extremely helpful to instantly define words while reading anything online! However, it is a shame that synonyms only show up when you select text, as opposed to searching up a word yourself. As a writer, it's vital that I am able to search for synonyms as I am writing, but they do not show up if I search for the word on my own.
