Prevents YouTube HTML5 and Flash players from auto-buffering (auto-playing) videos

The Edge add-on 'YouTube™ No Buffer - Stop Auto-playing' impedes YouTube HTML5 and Flash players from auto-buffering videos. It conserves bandwidth and prevents simultaneous buffering when multiple YouTube tabs are open. The user needs to manually click on the player to start buffering. However, once buffered, the player can play multiple tracks without needing activation for each track. This add-on halts auto-play on '/watch?v=', '/user/', '/channel/' pages, and embedded players. Also supports YouTube's new Material Design.

As of March 2024 it doesn't seem to work. Once you open a YouTube page, the video starts playing. It's neither paused nor completely stopped from buffering.

De TODOS que instalei, foi o ÚNICO que realmente desativou o autoplay do youtube, independente da forma que abrisse a página do vídeo! Espero que nunca mude! Muito obrigado ao criador desse addon, de coração!
