Excellent little add-on that does just what I need. It makes the MS Edge 'new tab' function, whether clicked on in the menu or shortcut using CTRL+T, open a new tab on a preset URL, regardless what (mandatory and slow corporate) page is configured in the settings. Most add-ons (and I tried many) are stopped by the new-tab browser settings if those are unmanageable.
