IDriss

Use emails, phone numbers or Twitter usernames instead of crypto wallet addresses.

IDriss is an open-source Chrome extension that streamlines accessing crypto wallet addresses by letting users search via emails, phone numbers, or Twitter usernames instead of complex wallet strings. Compatible with major exchanges and wallets such as Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, and KuCoin, IDriss integrates seamlessly inside extension windows to provide quick wallet lookups.

By typing a registered contact detail, users instantly retrieve corresponding crypto wallet addresses if the user has signed up on www.idriss.xyz. The extension promotes ease and security in cryptocurrency transactions and is backed by fully open-source code available on GitHub at www.github.com/idriss-crypto/browser-extensions. For community support and bug reporting, users can join the Discord server at https://discord.gg/RJhJKamjw5.

Extension safety

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

IDriss requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.

This is determined by the publisher and the Edge add-on reputation on Edge Add-on Store, the amount of time the Edge add-on has been around, and other signals about the Edge add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing an Edge add-on.

IDriss is probably trust-worthy. Prefer other publishers if available. Exercise caution when installing this add-on.
