Chord Dictionary is a powerful Chrome extension that instantly displays the notes constituting any chord when you hover your cursor over chord names on any web page. After activating the extension by clicking its icon, simply mouse over chords to see their detailed note breakdown.

This tool supports a wide range of chords, including simple, extended, slash chords, and notations like +, -, Δ, ○, omit, as well as roman numerals. You can even convert chords to roman numerals when a key is set. Additionally, you can click or use a shortcut to play the chord sound with customizable options for volume and instrument selection, such as piano, guitar, or synth. The extension also lets you toggle whether chord playback is triggered by click, shortcut, and/or hover, providing a flexible and interactive experience for musicians, composers, and learners alike.
