This extension allows the user to capture their fingerprint on the browser. It is used to authenticate a user for login purposes and process authorization, and it also to verify the identity of the user using the fingerprint.

IB Scan

The extension operates in two modes:

Enrollment - captures user's fingerprints data for enrollments into the application, the user will scan the fingerprint multiple times.
Authentication - captures the user's fingerprint data for authentication, the user will scan the fingerprint once

The extension requires an requires and additional software and the above mentioned fingerprint devices. The additional software provides drivers for the supported fingerprint devices and also provides a communication interface between the fingerprint device and the extension.
