The replacement for an old application that requires IE and Silverlight to work has been delayed so needed a way of allowing our users to continue using it for a while longer. Although Edge does allow IE compatibility mode, you have to re-enabled it every 30 days which is a complication we can do without. IE Tab is the answer and the Auto-URL feature means our users can seamlessly access the system without having to do anything special. Well worth the small annual licence fee.
