It also allows control over which websites are trusted, with an easily adjustable whitelist. Users can toggle the extension on or off at will, and also choose between the Web-Request Observer or Content Security Policy as their blocking engine. Great tool to disable sites that auto-refresh or load a ton of background scripts for tracking and advertising.
I am amazed at how fast some sites loaded when the background scripting is disabled.
